Travis
Wallace; April 18, 1926 - August 22, 2011
August
22, 2011 Wallace Sales Co, Inc. lost its founder Travis
Wallace. WWII Veteran, Pastor, and Business Owner.
He loved what he did and the
people he got to meet. Wallace Sales was more than a
business to him it was a mission from God. He saw it as
doing Gods work. He was able to help missionaries all over
the world by supplying them with chairs for people who have
little to nothing. “Everyday they wake up not knowing what
is going to happen and without all of the luxuries we have
here in the U.S. but one thing is for sure when they go to
church they will have chairs and not wooden benches but nice
high quality seating from someone they have never meet. When
I get to heaven I will meet people who sat in my chairs and
I’m sure I will receive plenty of Thanks from all of them.”
–Travis Wallace.
This is what Travis was all
about. Back in 1980 he had almost nothing and needed a job
so with the money he had walked into a furniture companies
building and asked what he had to do to sell for them. From
that day on he started Wallace Sales Co. to support his
family and supply furniture to the masses with a Christian
demeanor.
Wallace Sales Co, Inc. will
continue to do business despite the passing of Mr. Wallace
my grandfather and boss for the past 6 years. I, Kendall
Lynch, have learned how to run his business and know the
furniture he sold. I started at the bottom and worked to the
top. I plan on continuing where he left off. Wallace Sales
has always been a family and Christian organization and I
plan on continuing with that tradition. I will be redoing
the website to make it more user friendly and to buy online
but if you would like to talk with me on the phone please
continue to call. I have big plans for Wallace Sales Co, and
with Gods help I will make it. I can’t imagine doing
anything other than running this great organization. Thank
you to my grandfather, family, military who have and are
serving now, and God for giving me the opportunity to do
great works in this world such as Travis Wallace had done.
Thank you,
Kendall Lynch
“When I get up from this hospital bed, I want to be a
witness. I want to tell everyone I see about God’s blessings
and His truth. I want to tell everyone about God’s
faithfulness.”
